Omschrijving:
Capacitance Bridge
Informatie
The Type 716-C Capacitance Bridge is a Schering bridge which
is direct reading in capacitance over the frequency range
from 30 c to 300 kc and in dissipation factor at four
specific frequencies, 100 c, 1 kc, 10 kc, 100 kc. The
resistance balance is made by means of a variable capacitor
connected across one of the ratio arms, as shown in Figure
1. Hence its reading in dissipation factor is proportional
to the ratio of the applied frequency to the frequency for
which the RANGE SELECTOR switch is set.
The bridge may also be used for all types of substitution
measurements by the addition of a fixed or variable
balancing capacitor. The direct-reading scales greatly
simplify the necessary calculations for capacitance and
dissipation factor.
