Verwendungszweck
Die logarithmisch-periodische Vertikalantenne A 1146 dient
zum Empfang von Kurzwellensendern im Frequenzbereich 1,5 MHz
bis 30 MHz. Sie liefert bei annähernd konstantem Gewinn von
etwa 10dB und guter Anpassung sS2 eine fast gleichbleibende
Halbwertsbreite der Azimutdiagramme um 100°, Infolge des
Aufbaus der A 1146 als Monopolantenne, der Einbeziehung des
Mastes als Strahler sowie der zum Teil durch Dachkapazitäten
verkürzten Strahler benötigt die Antenne bei geringer Höhe
nur verhältnismäßig wenig Bodenfläche.
