V.35/RS-449/X.21 COMBINED DATA INTERFACE MODULE
Information
The V.35/RS-449/X.21 Combined Data Interface Module gives
the FIREBERD 6000 and Fireberd 4000 the ability to test from
a V.35, RS-449, or X.21 access point with the same module.
This module does all of the following:
• Performs Bit Error Rate (BER) testing on data links that
are out of service.
• Emulates Data Transmission Equipment (DTE) or Data
Communications Equipment (DCE).
• Performs V.54 (in V.35 mode) loopbacks 2 and 3, RS-449
loopbacks RL and LL, and X.21 loopbacks 2b and 3c.
