GPIB Operation ABOUT THIS MANUAL 1. This manual is divided into chapters and a number of appendices. This chapter gives general information about the remote operation of the sweeper using the General Purpose Interface Bus (GPIB). Chapter 2 gives specific information on the various programming modes available with the sweeper including general syntax guidelines. The appendices form a collection of useful information on all aspects of GPIB control* 2. Although this manual is self contained and gives all the information necessary to operate the sweeper using GPIB, familiarity with local operation is assumed. Local operation is described in the sweeper Operating Manual Vol.l.
